This unit uses an enclosed electrical hysteresis brake, giving extremely smooth torque, excellent repeatability and longevity. There are no friction faces to wear and is thus maintenance free.
The unit is powered by a well-proven power supply, giving smooth application of voltage from 0 to maximum, in one turn of the potentiometer.
A range of hysteresis brakes is available to suit most wire sizes. A wire break switch is optional. |
