This unit consists of a
fabricated frame which retains tufnol clamping blocks. The unit relies on the foil or strip being tensioned by a pneumatic cylinder applying pressure to the tufnol blocks.
The blocks are machined to suit a particular foil or strip being used.
The tension is varied by an air regulator, the gauge giving the indication of tension. |
